A new project for the new academic year

Words in Transit has just received its first translation project for the 2011/2012 academic year. Three students are helping to translate a series of testimonies from young children around the world who have been touched by conflict, war, poverty, displacement, etc.

We’re now more than halfway through the 2010/2011 academic year, and the students involved with the Words in Transit initiative have translated from French into English more than 9,600 words for the Humanium and Eau Vive websites. Words in Transit Initiative launched

The Words in Transit initiative has tentatively begun with the launch of the wordsintransit.org website.
